Evie is ONE today! This adorable one year old had a ladybug-theme birthday party, so I was happy to make this cake for her. 
The cake took little time to assemble, but there was a lot of prep-work involved. All the daisies and ladybugs are made of gumpaste (edible pen for the details on ladybugs).
The name was also made of gumpaste, coated with edible pearl dust.Vanilla cake with almond buttercream. Covered in marshmallow fondant with gumpaste and buttercream accents.
